Volunteers are essential in the projects and activities we offer people and their communities. We would love to welcome you to our Think Creatively volunteer programme
We always have volunteering opportunities across our organisation. Some of our 5 key areas are still up and coming and some are more established but we would love to have you onboard, supporting us in delivering our mission by contributing to the communities we work with
How can you volunteer?
Each of our 5 key areas will offer different opportunities or you may have an interest in helping Think Creatively more generally. If you would like to find out a little more about our key areas, you will find this below:
Youth Arts
Volunteering within the Youth Arts area offers a unique set of creative opportunities such as being part of a production team which may include gaining skills in set design, lighting, sound, costume design and more!
Heritage and welsh culture
Volunteering in the Heritage and Welsh Culture area has such a variety of opportunities. We recently partnered with 'Cadw' on the "Gwreiddiau - Roots" celebration which offered opportunities in workshop design, front of house, event preparation, marketing and more!
Arts in Education
We have been lucky to work with some amazing schools and projects in the education sector and a number of our projects result in a showcase of the amazing work that Young People have created. Volunteering in this area could include event preparation, exhibition set up/take down, front of house duties and more!
Arts and Health; Wellbeing in Nature
Synhwyro Natur | Sense Nature is an upcoming key area of work for Think Creatively, which we are really excited to continue to develop. Volunteering in this key area may include set up/take down and workshop support!
Creative Development
This area is one of our most developed areas and it brings a fantastic set of opportunities along with it. Most recently our partnership with Make It! has hosted a number of 'scratch night' events and showcases of up and coming artists and their work. Volunteering in this space is limited to 18+ years of age but may include being part of a production team (lighting, sound, event management support, front of house) and more!
How can you get in touch?
Think Creatively as a whole is a relatively new organisation. We are still growing and seeing our creative visions come to life, which means, there is always an opportunity to explore other types of volunteering with us such as helping with our core running activities, marketing, social media and so much more!
